Office Chair Rolling and Sliding Resistance Tester

Short Description:

This machine is used to test an unloaded chair on a horizontal work surface. The chair is pushed or pulled at a speed of 50mm/s over a distance of no less than 550mm. A horizontal force is applied at 200mm above the work surface, and the force required to move the chair is recorded. The average rolling/sliding resistance is measured over a 250mm–500mm travel distance.
